Monolith M1060C Closed Back Planar Headphones impressions
I brought Topping A50 which is 1w through an unbalanced cable and used Fiio Q1 as a dac. This let me boost bass enough at max volume but it still lacked the magic and sony still had more powerful rambling bass at 50% volume. 1060c started to hit hard enough and on some specific songs the bass...- Morphed

Monolith M1060C Closed Back Planar Headphones impressions
I got my m1060c today and when I power them from Fiio Q1 I’m really disappointed in the power of bass they can produce. I was expecting more from a 106mm driver, my current headphones are Sony XB950 with 40mm driver and I would say it’s at least twice as powerful bass. I wonder if I can...- Morphed

Monolith M1060C Closed Back Planar Headphones impressions
I know it’s a very silly question but I wonder if these headphones can match the bass power of Sony XB950. I like to boost low frequencies with eq like crazy and I wonder if these headphones will play my music loud without distortion and with enough bass punch to make minimal techno enjoyable. I...- Morphed

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
My JVC HA-MR77x died and I’m looking for a replacement. Everything on here is either not being made anymore or too expensive for me. I had to downgrade to Sony XB950b1 but I need more bass and I want it loud. I tested Beyerdynamic DT 770 for a week and I love how they sound but they could only...- Morphed

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
My JVC ha-mr77x is slowly dying, I can hear rattling of one speaker on max volume. I brought ha-mr60x-b because they were supposed to have slightly less sub-bass but still kick hard, but that's not true, bass is crap. If I had to guess it's half as strong. I thought maybe they will shine without...- Morphed

Remax RM-S1 IEM
I'm on a hunt for nice basshead IEMs in reasonable price. I want to upgrade my JVC HA-FX1X. After reading reviews I thought that Remax S1 is the one. According to Head-fi it's one of the bassiest chinese IEMs. I have them now and they are huge disappointment. Sound quality is OK but the bass is...- Morphed

JVC HA-FX3X fake vs. genuine
http://imgur.com/a/YITkP Couple pictures of my earbuds. Small update, I was listening to them on my old mp3 player and they perform terrible with it. Now I upgraded to sansa clip+ and bass is much better on them, I think it might be even better than on my on ear HA-MR77x attached to Xonar U3...- Morphed

JVC HA-FX3X fake vs. genuine

First pair I got had a hole in a cloth filter on one earbud. I got second pair of these and aluminium part looks worse like on picture...- Morphed
