I find the Piston's to be an excellent set of IEM's for $25.

How does the sound quality compare to the DX50 without amp (IEM)? I've checked the forum but after going back to page 180 gave up.     Is it a noticable difference for the price difference?

I just want to say how underrated these headphones are, they are the best.

Fit is better than many I have tried recently.

Well Lendmeurears has black ones coming Oct 18 but I need them by next Wednesday....So ill probably get the red ones from their Amzazon store (prime shipping). Sound is more important than looks anyways.

Price increase is due to them being black rather than red, blue...most places are sold out.

How do the VSD3S compare to GR07 when priced within $20 of each other (Amazon)?

I own the B3's along with the iBasso DX50 and Topping NX1. Sound is neutral, wide, and clear. You would not be disappointed with this combination.

Looking for a reliatively inexpensive tube amp that can power my Havi B3's and Grado sr60e's.     The Havi B3's are very hard to power (dual-driver, 32 ohm's).     Looking for something under $200.     Thanks.

  Using the Double Flange Tips now, but after comparing them to something like the Piston 2 - you really appreciate the large soundstage and flat EQ - rare for a set of headphones at this price range.

I've noticed the EQ on the DX50 is either really subtle and/or is quieter than when it is "off" or flat. Overall, I did just receive the NX1 amp, and has helped my Havi B3's tremendously. Much fuller, and dare say it warmer soundstage. Not sure how it improved that much by just adding more...
