Or maybe you guys could talk to people at Soundmagic. They have 'magically' made E10c (and others) remote fully compatible with both Android and iOS without requiring a switch. Just a thought.- davedm

Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot
Nop No, I mean can it receive Bluetooth from smartphone using Aptx codec and play through headphones (3.5mm/ 2.5mm)? There are players (caying N3, shanling m2s) that can do this but not with Aptx.- davedm

@FiiO Can X5iii receive music via aptx (or even SBC) and play it ala caying N3/ shanling M2s (although these support only SBC)? Though I must admit, I do not see the need for this, I am just asking if it could ? Thanks- davedm

Aune M1s Impressions & Discussion Thread (Aune's newest hi-res DAP with ESS9018KM + 2.5mm Balanced Out)
Is there a pattern to the stuttering problem? for example if only high resolution files 24/192 or DSD128 are stuttering or even 16/44 files are also stuttering? if only high res files stutter then the problem could be related to m1s. Try contacting Aune in this case. Could you try to use dacport...- davedm

To add to what @puppyfi has said, those who are suspecting their cards can follow these steps to avoid doubting their cards. Format the card with SD formatter found here. Make sure to use overwrite option. This will confirm that your card is not corrupted. Format the card with Aune's utility...- davedm

Android phones and USB DACs
Apologies for delayed response. G4 behavior is the normal behavior of an android phone. As soon as you connect a USB audio device, audio from any app will be directed to it. However this will be through android audio architecture for most apps and there are quality concerns with this...- davedm

Android phones and USB DACs
Which DAC are you using with it? Normally you should put your DAC in USB mode (if it has multiple input options) and connect with your phone via USB/USB OTG cable as the case may be. Android should detect the DAC and audio should be diverted to DAC automatically.- davedm

Android phones and USB DACs
Since it's marshmallow, it can be used with external dac or DAC/amp without having to use any app. However there is a problem that Android upsamples your music and due to issues with upsampling algorithms, that upsampled music doesn't play true to the original file. It is therefore advisable to...- davedm

Aune M1s Impressions & Discussion Thread (Aune's newest hi-res DAP with ESS9018KM + 2.5mm Balanced Out)
I would also suggest that you also consider purchasing 3.5mm balanced version. Which is directly compatible with most players' 3.5mm Single Ended output without an adapter and easily adapted to 2.5mm balanced with a simple adapter that should come with it. Only downside is that you cannot use it...- davedm

XDuoo X3 DSD 24Bit / 192KHz CS4398 Chip Lossless Music Player
Hi artnoi, First of all, as @slaterlovesspam has already mentioned chances of your X3 being fake are almost nil as there are no reports to this effect till date. So rest assured that your X3 is original. Secondly, Xduoo's claim of 250mW power is inflated as the max. actual power is on ~154mw...- davedm

XDuoo X3 DSD 24Bit / 192KHz CS4398 Chip Lossless Music Player
Volume level is not indicative of power as different products might employ different volume curves. The ideal way to check power is at full volume. Therefore you could do one of the two things. Find a pair of headphones from your collection that you can safely play at full volume on X3. Then...- davedm

Upcoming DAP from xDuoo - the X10!
Some random thoughts. I could be wrong but I believe the cut is there when playing songs with different bitrate for example 16/44 to 16/48 or 16/44 to 24/96. In this case, the dac may cut output to avoid weird noises. This problem is with all linux based recent players like Xduoo X3, Xduoo...- davedm

XDuoo XD-05 Portable Dac/Amp Introduction - Impressions
AFAIK, this has already been discussed here. This is a problem with Android. It upsamles everything to 192kHz. Normally it should not affect quality (it doesn't with windows for example) but faulty driver implementation is causing sound quality issues. It is therefore recommended to use apps...- davedm
