Thanks for confirming. I think it's a deliberate move by A&K to protect the flagship... Have to justify the price gap and not penalize those who bought the 240. Well played in my opinion.

Would also like to nominate AT IM03.  a bit less bass but really solid performer across all frequency range.

imho you'd be happy with xiaomi pistons 2- I have the momentum over ear and pistons 2. Never really thought of comparing the 2 but your post triggered it- i would say they are somewhat similar- really solid punchy bass, good clean mids and OK highs (it gets messy on the top)- nothing is overly...

I like the momentum over ear sound signature and find it really worth its price. But I won't be wearing it out of the house. I didn't like the over ear as well. I thought it ruined the momentum experience. Praying the iems don't fall into the same faults as the middle child:p

tried the AK120ii the other day, along with the AK240. I find that the 120ii while sounding really good and comparable to the 240- it has a slightly narrower sound stage and a little less warm, even for flac music (vs reading somewhere that the difference between 120ii and 240 is only apparent...
