This is my "Green Machine" headband mod: This makes a night-and-day difference in comfort.  

I'm thinking of re--wiring a headphone plug, and the plugs I'm looking at all have only three contacts. This may sound like a dumb question, but think about it... why are there only 3 connectors on a stereo jack? I would expect that in an el-cheapo car stereo setup, but not on a set of good...
