Review by 'yukitq' on item 'KBEAR Lark'
Disclaimer: The KBEAR Lark was sent to me for review free-of-charge. Rest assured though, I will be as objective as possible. Ratings are given on a scale of 1 through 10 and are graded relative to my experience with the myriad IEMs I own, from budget-friendly earphones to the many TOTL ones I...- yukitq

Review by 'yukitq' on item 'Sony IER-M9 In-ear Monitor Headphones'
Full Review can be found on my site: https://audiorambles.com/sony-ier-m9/ Build Quality, Fit, Comfort and Isolation Aesthetics (8.5/10): Matte Black shells, decorated with a carbon-fibre faceplate. A classic look, for sure, yet still awfully handsome to look at. Build Quality (9/10): The...- yukitq

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but I meant treble murder in terms of emphasis. I'm very sibilant sensitive, and the S8F tips way over the edge for me. I do subscribe to your channel, and the T800 had the same effect. Not talking about quality, just purely quantity.- yukitq

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
I was okay with the S8 Pro, but not at all okay with the S8F. I liked the Pro. The latter was treble murder for me, though it's sonic characteristics were basically 90% similar to the former. Get the F if you want more detail and can take harsher treble, Pro otherwise.- yukitq

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
\ Okay so I had some time to try out the new Paladin series IEMs, and while my impressions weren't as negative towards the Rolands as say Toranku's, I did leave quite disappointed (as did the other patron in the shop with me whom I had brief discussions with. Soundwise I found the Rolands to...- yukitq

Review: https://audiorambles.com/campfire-audio-atlas/ Introduction Undoubtedly the undisputed Magnum Opus of Campfire Audio, the Campfire Andromedas have received critical acclaim since their release. QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread
Exactly. If QDC made an IEM which sat in the middle of their lineup but sounded as good or even better than the VX, I'm sure that's all you'd hear me talking about. Heck if they're not their literal top of the line. But that's not the case, so the VX/8-driver models getting more traction in...- yukitq

I think that goes without saying because it'll be a new flagship? Which would naturally generate interest and discussion? I really don't understand the argument here.- yukitq

QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread
You make good points, but I think in general people just like to talk about standout products more than anything, and in QDC's case, their standout products are their 8-driver models and the VX. I wouldn't particularly consider this any form of elitism should the latter few gain more traction in...- yukitq

QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread
Maybe I'll get some flak but I (and with a lot of people I know) don't consider the JH13 technicalities wise anywhere near "very good", so to say the V3 hangs with the JH13, while true, isn't really saying much. I would agree that the V3 is really nice though, and 230USD is a really good price...- yukitq

I've got a little write-up of them here: https://audiorambles.com/qdc-anole-v3/ But the TL;DR is not bad, but kinda expensive for the retail price.- yukitq

QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread
I'm actually considering the VX for real, why can't there be a Gemini with actual subbass I'll go have another listen to the VX, last time I found them a little aggressive comparatively, considering perhaps the U12t as well.- yukitq

Toranku who commented just a while before your post has impressions on the QDC 8-series and Gemini which can be found here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/torankus-thoughts-and-impressions-on-iems-hiatus.895832/page-4#post-14691333- yukitq

QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread
Seconded, they were also a little too intense in that region for me. But the Geminis/8-series just don't do sub-bass well, something that the VX does wondrously, so I guess that's also something else to consider.- yukitq
