    Silverstone SST-EB01 > Logitech Z-2300

Right, it came today, and it's great. Plenty loud enough to drive my headphones without amplification, too. Just one question: how should I have my volumes configured when I'm using my powered speakers? Should my system volume be at its maximum, or should I keep it low and have the speakers...

Sick, thanks guys. I have a Y-adapter for dual analogs to 3.5mm so I guess I just need the DAC and I'm set.

    Silverstone SST-EB01 > Logitech Z-2300

Hey I'm thinking about upgrading my laptop's on-board sound and I'm interested in the Silverstone EB01 USB DAC. I understand this doesn't have any kind of integrated amplifier, so plugging in my Sennheiser HD595s would give me no sound. However, I mainly use my Logitech Z-2300 speakers...

In need of headphones for gaming/music

I game with HD595s every day and they're great. Very good for footstep location in CS and any other FPSs. Of course they're brilliant for music and FANTASTIC for watching movies.

    Use different jack for headphones?

But the thing is, they can all be used together if I want to have 5.1 audio ie I have to plug three cables from my speakers into these jacks. Therefore presumably they're capable of outputting sound - and they're clean. Could you elaborate on this plugin to remove unwanted frequencies? Sounds...

    Use different jack for headphones?

Basically my laptop's headphone jack is a bit noisy...and the other jacks are fine, so what I really want is to be able to plug my headphones into one of them and listen to the audio through that. I have Line-In, S/PDIF-Out, Microphone In and Headphone Out jacks. Any idea at all as to how I...

Wow, ordered on Thursday morning and they came today (Saturday morning). That's one hell of a good eBayer! Didn't expect weekend delivery. I can only massively recommend this guy along with others in this thread. Incredible headphones, too.

    Buying headphones from eBay...

Hi I've been looking for some Senn HD595s and the cheapest I've found them is at just under £90 from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SENNHEISER-HD5...QQcmdZViewItem He manages to nicely undercut the £120-£150 I'd pay elsewhere. Is there anything I should know/be wary of about getting them...
