You did... "I had trouble using the M50's at work because the cable is so long"    I assumed you had the straight cable model so that made me look up the length and 3 meters/10ft is definitely too long for me to handle.

I did end up going with the coiled model even for the little extra cost.  I'll end up doing the removable cable mod in the future, but in the meantime, I would get annoyed with a 10ft cable.
