Hey all, I'm looking for a pair of earbuds in the sub 200 dollars range. I have some sensitivity to tremble and I prefer neutral/warmer sounds. I listen to a lot of hardcore punk, crust, post metal, black metal. Any suggestions? Preferably for buds that can be delivered in the EU.

if you get to a good audiologist to get your measures then the fit will be pretty much perfect. But comfort wise you might still find that it bothers you to have something in your ear. Even if it fits perfect to the shape of your canals. Soundwise they would consistently offer the same sound...

I would recommend the shiit magni and modi they are a great pair of dac - amp, pretty cheap for what they offer. Personally i have never felt the need to upgrade...

what's the weight of these? Because they look heavy...

Well some imbalance in output can manifest itself in different ways in different headphones, so use any other headphone you have and try to find anything out of the ordinary...

Also place the magni on a wooden surface and see if the buzzing is still there. I had some buzzing and it was due to static on my floor's tiles...

When connecting them to the amp you use the adapter but when connecting them to the pc no? If that's the case and you only detect problems with one channel then yes the adapter is a strong suspect. Also even if the headphones do not demand amplification, if you connect them to a faulty amp...

Open is a definitely no for portable headphones. You will have to much noise leaking in and you will annoy people sitting next to you. I use open headphones at the living room and my roommate can hear averything...

I am sensitive to tremble and after using great and detailed high end headphones that would make me uncomfortable, I understood that high end is not for me... I use great sounding dark mid range headphones and I just love it. I might miss details, air etc but I enjoy the music... So my advice...

Do you have any other headphone to connect to the amp and test it? Because it sounds to me like some faulty output at the mid range frequencies...
