I use the Fiio k7 and it sounds great. The Volume knob is a little strange. The volume is really quiet till about the half way point regardless of what is connected to it. Not sure why it's designed like that.- MrBagelyBagels

FiiO FX15. 1dd+1ba+4EST drivers
I ordered these and the the Oracle Mkii to compare and wow. Fx15 is truly something special. I returned the Oracle Mkii. It sounded way to thin with no depth in slam. Male vocals were lacking and sounded bland when it came to rock/metal music. One of the worse sounding IEMs I've tried. Tried...- MrBagelyBagels

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread
They definitely do justice with heavier metal music like this. I can't talk about comparisons with other IEM's as I prefer full-size headphones for daily listening at home. Have not listened to a whole lot of IEM's. These do sound great though for pretty much anything I throw at it. I'm using...- MrBagelyBagels

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread
I just received the LZ A7 about two hours ago. The audiofly af180 reminded me of the LCD 2 sound signature which I like. Listening to music like old Linkin Park and Tool's newest album with the LZ A7 I'm honestly shocked. Audiofly af180 is overpriced and not remotely good as these after trying...- MrBagelyBagels

Question about DAC's
I've noticed that the Modi, Audioengine D1 and the XFI HD USB all share the same DAC being the AK4936. Does that mean they would all sound relatively the same excluding the D1 amp section or is there more to it then just the DAC chip itself.- MrBagelyBagels

Looking for a well rounded IEM around $120 with similar like sound signature to my HD598's
Hello yall, I am looking for an IEM that has got the same kind of sound as my HD598's with a wide soundstage. I listen to genres such as post-rock, math rock, progressive rock, acoustic, all kinds of pop (jpop-kpop etc) and electronic music. I have my eyes on the Havi B3 Pro-1 so if anyone...- MrBagelyBagels

Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread
Been looking at this thread for awhile. Was wondering if these would be great for post-rock like "Explosions in the Sky," math rock like "toe", progressive rock like "Tool" and electro-pop like "Perfume" These genres sound pretty damn good on my HD598's so if these have a similar like sound...- MrBagelyBagels
