Sound popping in windows problem
Haha sorry this post is useless now, I just fixed it. If anyone is curious there is a program called dpclat that analyzes your audio stream. Mine was massively messed up and it happened to be a program called easytune6 that comes with gigabyte motherboards.- MasiveMunkey

This just happened to me and I've pretty much just stopped using paypal because I don't want do either of those things. I guess you could...- MasiveMunkey

Where to buy gold wire???
Yeah what's the point of using gold? Isn't the goal to get as low of a resistance as possible? It's silver < copper < gold on the resistance scale.- MasiveMunkey

Goodbye Sweet Mt. Dew
Don't give up soda just train yourself to like diet soda. There's really nothing wrong with diet soda except for the caffeine and if that's too much for you there is caffeine free diet coke. Diet soda >> water taste wise.- MasiveMunkey

The FreQ Custom IEMs - Impressions Thread (Updates on First Page!)
I just did my impressions today and sent them off priority mail to FreQ, hopefully I'll get them back soon. I think I got lucky with my audiologist since he only charged $15 for both ears and knew exactly what I was getting them for (he sells custom Westones). If anyone needs impressions...- MasiveMunkey

For me it's because they look really cheap for how much they cost and I've read that the build quality isn't too good. I'm not paying 100's of dollars for something that's going to fall apart.- MasiveMunkey

The FreQ Custom IEMs - Impressions Thread (Updates on First Page!)
I'm really thinking about FreQ's, but I'm a little afraid of fit issues. It seems like FreQ is not getting the size right for a lot of people on the first try. Is this common with all the custom IEMS or is FreQ a little worse at sizing IEMS than the others? Also, how long after you send in your...- MasiveMunkey

The Next Sony R-10!
I kind of like how the R10 is not sold anymore. It makes it so much more special and epic. Sort of like the excalibur of headphones. I think it would be kind of lame for Sony to do another run of them, but improving on them and creating a new model would be interesting. Maybe Sony could take...- MasiveMunkey

I've never done it, but I believe it goes R+ = R, L+ = L, both - = G. The ground pin on the 3 pin XLR is most likely connected to nothing. -
ad900 ==> ad2000
I've heard a lot of phones and AD2000s are something special in my opinion. I've never heard the ad900s though :-/. If you get the AD2000s you could always sell them on head-fi for minimal loss.- MasiveMunkey
