These look interesting. Whats the comfort and fit like? Can they be used for running like someone previously suggested?

My pair sounds great. Just like what previous posters have said though, they sound better with higher volumes which is a slight shame as I listen to fairly low volumes.

 Just received my pair today. My pair seems to have the unibody design and as of yet, no cosmetic flaws or cutouts.

I just ordered a pair of UE900s from DWI. Ill let you know once they come. As for warranty, not entirely sure but I would assume so. Also from Australia.

Was thinking about taking the plunge into a new set of UE900s. From the build quality issues of the UE900, its slightly concerning. Has there ben any reports of UE900s having the same issues?

My apologies. When I replied with a dead pair I was referring to going dead faster than expected. I am in no way exclaiming that the VSD5 will come DOA. I was purely speculating a shorter lifespan. 'Dead pair of earphones' was used as a figure of speech. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

I couldnt get even a decent fit with the heir 4AIS. :/ I dont think noble's offering which is modelled off the heir will fit me much better :/

I went from Heir Audio 4ais( which broke) to what im using right now to be the Ostry KC06a. Yehh the difference in sound quality is major.

Im planning on getting my first high end universal. What brands and model numbers would you recommend I read up on. My budget would be around $600-700. I've read on headfi that the law of diminishing returns is apparent, would you still recommend investing in high end universals? 

Ive used the Heir audio 4ai.s which seem to be the foundation of the nobles. They look pretty similar and the isolation on the Heir was pretty poor in my experience.
