Can Someone help me? Somehow, my Zishan is not recognizing the songs in the SD card. It sees that the card is inserted. But not seeing anything in it. I tried reformatting the card and reinstalling the songs but same prob. :(

I am also very sorry to report DAC mode from iPhone doesn't work. :( I am using LIghtning to Micro USB cable to connect to DSD 799. Anyone tried this yet?

It's really weird. that USB dongle I am using, it would not recognize Zishan 799 DAC. I tried using other USB multi tap and connect that to the USB dongle. So... Macbook Pro--USB dongle (that doen't recognize DSD 799)--USB multi tap--DSD 799. And it recognized it. Why would certain...

Ugh... I see that when you select "USB Audio" it's routing the sound to the audio jack on the USB dongle instead of the USB cable out. What's the work around for this?

OKAY HELP!!! I finally got my Zishan DSD 799. I connected it to my Macbook pro via supplied USB cable. My Macbook recognizes "USB Audio" device for sound out. But sound is not coming out even though I put the DSD 799 in DAC mode (It automatically switches to it anyway). :(

That makes sense. The reason why I thought about amps first was because it was actually easier to do research than HPs... I understand everything comes down to subjective experience and preferences. But all the info out there with what makes a good entry point HPs is just ridiculous... For me...

I guess better question is...   If T1 is an inclusive device that does not need a separate DAC, why would I choose Little Dot MK II over it?   With a decentcheap DAC that you suggested, is Little Dot's MK II noticeably better than T1?

Hi guys,  Head-Fi noob here. I look forward to learn more from all of you.   To start out in the world of wallet emptying audiophile world, I've been checking out Aune T1 and Little Dot's MK II as a good entry point.   I read reviews on them but it's extremely difficult to determine...
