Audio gd never use 3 stage step down regulators. Too big.but sound get little better

Studer 900 board more details but little colored vs sigma11. Lt1963 more neutral. For best sound I using both.not so warm, detailed, airy, forward, deep....perfect for me!

How good is your ac line??? If lps1.2 better, your ac line bad.you must be using power regenerator.

Matrix regulators just crap.Better when powering f1 crystek separately,with some 3 stage step down parallel connected ultra low noise regulators like 4xlt3045,hplun or others.

months ago I posted my experience about digital stage power. Voila!!!

0-5.4v 45Farad ,can feed my dac modules,or F1,or some low amperage gadgets.I have 8v version ,can feed my sclk ex clock example.

I don't know digikey, but in china the nesscap very common stuff.from Taobao example.

Now, F1 feed Lps1.2-sps500-500w own isolation transformer.not so cheap option,i know.im just lazy to build one more nesscap psu with relay,(5v 500ma)can beat lps1.2-sps500 combo. ultra low noise linear psu also can be the other option,but because the Ac quality,always degrade the SQ...

Nice to see you again Alex!!! Somebody on C.A. think real expert,find uptone lps1 use ballast resistors reach lower impendace. Also Motberg visited me last weekend,and tested lps1,have better air and details than pure u caps. Also 10 farad in lps1 vs 100, the spec ,not same......

Good isolated Sotm sps500 (2 isolation transformer between audio stacks) compared my Diy U cap Psu : Sonically no differences.
