    TF10 vs. FreQ Show

    Westone 3 universal IEM....

Actually I am not putting high hopes in them. Similarly priced as the TF10p and SE530, I think it will perform on par, but with different sound signature. It can't just be a perfect IEM.

    D2 minireview and recommendation

actually i like the idea that i can use the SD slot to view pictures taken from my camera. or store pictures and music in a SD card and use D2 to access it. be creative, it is so convenient. every portable player manufacturer should really look into this.

    D2 minireview and recommendation

I really like D2's idea of having expandable memory, really handy. Also, make the storage capacity "upgradable". LOL. Might settle with a 8GB D2 now, and wait for 32GB SD card to be released.

It actually depends on what games you play too. FPS games will benefit from a creative soundcard due to EAX's better positional audio

    D2 minireview and recommendation

D2 has APE support through firmware updates. I am concerned about its SQ compared with Ipod Classic. The main problem of D2 is its rather limited capacity. It won't hold many FLACs and APEs. But if I am using Ipod, I will need to convert all the FLACs and APEs that I have into ALACs. I am not...

Which sound card would you choose?

The problem of X-Fi Elite Pro is it has crappy capacitors and opamps. It has good DACs, but the signal still suffers due to other crappy components in the signal path. My advice, assuming that you are not going to use it for multichannel movie/games or even multichannel music, don't waste...

Should i go down the IEM path?

headphones and IEM are totally different. IEMs cater for people who like the isolation feature of it, while high-end open headphones tend to give airy sound that IEMs can never emulate. So it really depends on your need. Generally, IEMs have less punchy bass due to their small size. Headphones...
