Can you describe more about the OR5 and Ciunus differences? Lets say you were to i2s the Ciunas and run a Teddy PSU with it. Do you think things get a little more evened out or not quite? Trying to figure out where the Ciunus would need to be modded to go neck to neck with the OR5 setup you have.

Why not just use some shield Mogami wire and diy one a USB cable?   From all that has been said, the Jkeny MKIII is not in the same league as the Ciunas converter.  The Ciunas DAC is an i2S using his converter (I believe) so there would be no point in buying another converter for the all in...

JMO, vinyl is superior on the right front end. Digital is very good, but is like a hybrid sound, not vinyl, not the digital of even 10 years ago. It has nothing to do with nostalgia or being fixed into a musical genre. I do not own a vinyl setup and only speak from personal experience in past...

Gotta ask...there's a ton of people that hear zero difference between rectifiers, be it an SS diode or tube.  Others as has been discussed here can hear differences.  Is this something to do with the fact that the voltages change OR are we talking that if we have an amp that uses say, 5AR4 type...
