To each his own. I believe the Grado line is fine without amps. For the purpose of volume increase. I’m assuming you are into hearing the headphones sound signature be altered.

What’s wrong with lowering the volume? Grados are engineered to be listened to at lower volumes. Just asking.

Great to Hear! I am really loving the sound signature on the GW100X. Instruments really sound as they do when heard live. Whether that may be acoustic or amped instruments. The Grado line makes the pre recorded atmosphere disappear and i am transported to the actual recording venue. Very highly...

I am very impressed with the GW100x’s sound. I feel there is no gap between wired cans and wireless anymore. This model is outstanding in sound presentation.

I cannot speak for the RS2X. but the RS2E sound signature is equivalent to opening a window and hearing the sounds outside versus hearing those sounds with the window closed. Immense detail and clarity. Best way that I can describe it.

Very nice collection. I started with SR60. Then sr 125 and 325. Later added RS2E. Alessandro M1. And now have SR225x. I have also used DIY versions of GS 3000E and PS 1000E.

The M4 to me, is about the sound. I am fascinated by its abilities to sound as good as wired Sennheiser headphones.

I’m feeling good listening to the Momentum 4. The sound is definitely detailed and the bass is really nice. I’m sorry to you people that are having nagging problems. Because these headphones are special in my experiences.

Listening to Amazon HD playlist of 1990’s Alternative Rock on my IPhone 13 MAX PRO. Using my BEATS STUDIO3 WIRELESS. This set up sounds clear and deep. It is doing the cuts justice. Bravo.

The p17 seems to have a much more bass on my iPhone vs. my LGV60. But I did a hard reset on them and I think it fixed this issue. The P17 are very listenable.

I just started using an Asgard 2 with the Sony Z7M2's. It has a rich and full presentation on rock and jazz. I like the low end. It matches well with the music I listen to. Source is Apple lossless and Cd's.

I have been using the wireless version of the HD1. I find the sound reproduction intoxicating. Trance like. I can listen to the HD1's for hours. It never ceases to amaze me as to how much detail it pulls from recordings. I haven't used them wired at all. I am very happy with the HD 1.
