Help me buy headphone. Is ATH m50 overrated?
Reading OP was like reading my own question. The only thing different (apart from music, but not too much) is that I can use open headphones since I live alone and will be using at home from my xonar DX (no amp). I'm pretty hooked on ATH AD900x. Am I going to be happy with that purchase or...- KnezicDex

Neutrality for $200 or less
Well it doesn't have to be the shure 440. I just wanted to say that investing in a better source will give him better price/sound ratio. And for 100$ you can buy excellent headphones and a good soundcard(or amp).- KnezicDex

Senn HD518 high freq upgrade
Well i think Yamaha pro 500 fits my criteria but I'm afraid of the comfort. I don't wear glasses and i will be using them at home. Also did some research on Soundmagic hp200 but i don't know if i want to give 200$ on chinese headphones which brand i never heard before. Philips Fidelio X1 and...- KnezicDex

Audio-Technica ad700x vs Philips Fidelio L1
I think i'll go with the Yamaha pro 500. The only thing that's worrying me is the comfort, clamping force. Can anyone tell me if the comfort is good enough for longer periods of listening. I realise that i must make a compromise somewhere and since i already own a uncomfortable headphone i think...- KnezicDex

Audio-Technica ad700x vs Philips Fidelio L1
I liked the sound the shure srh 440 but I want something better so that I don't find myself upgrading soon. Read that the grado 225i are a good upgrade for 440 so I wonder how does the 225i compare to modern headphones to 200$ range? Is the 225i a good(best) choice?- KnezicDex

Audio-Technica ad700x vs Philips Fidelio L1
Can anyone tell me anything about DONSCORPIO Dolphin? The little i can find is almost too good to be true, and im a bit scared of too much bass? 99$ and free shipping for something someone likes more then 770 pro80 seems unreal.- KnezicDex

Audio-Technica ad700x vs Philips Fidelio L1
Hello. Recently i got hooked to quality audio (music). Currently i use Sennheiser HD205II. I don't have much experience with headphones so i won't rate these ones but they sound good enough for first good headphones and if it wasn't for the unbearable clamping force i could recommend them for...- KnezicDex
