    Shure in Canada?

Check out Tom Lee Music in Vancouver, this is where I bought my E4's for the best price I could find. http://www.tomleemusic.ca/main/lives...191&inv=108115

Senn 595 right out of the ipod

Senn 595 right out of the ipod

Hello Everyone, I just purchased some Senn 595's (the 50 Ohm version) to use at home. My portable rig is: ipod mini -> PA2V2 -> E4's. I really noticed a difference when using the PA2V2 with the E4's, it really brought out the bass. However, when I use the Senn's with my ipod, there doesn't...

    Cans for Home Theater...

I'm thinking of picking up a pair of Grado SR 80's for HT use for my wife and I. It's hard to watch movies with an 8 month old around. How would they sound for HT? also, any issues using a splitter off the main audio out from my panasonic SA-HE 200 amp? thanks, dg

    Stock iPod earbuds...WOW! amazing!

LOL They've been taking up space in my drawer! The other nice thing is that my cat only like stuff that's essentially free (i.e. crap). I'll buy her an expensive scratch post...she won't touch it. But give her a plastic bag, she's all over it. Sounds like the ear buds will fit the bill...

    IEMs and Bitrate

I initially ripped at AAC 192 kbps but have since switched to EAC with LAME VBR v2 encoding. This has really made a difference and most of my tunes are within the 180 - 200 kbps size (ie, about the same as with standard 192). Here's a great website to help you out...

My best decisions as a newbie

Hello Everyone, Well, as you can tell, I'm quite new here. However, I just wanted to highlight a couple of the best decisions I've made recently that have really improved my listening enjoyment (to perhaps help some of the other newbies here). 1) Shure E4's. I previously had the UE...

How long does it take you to put in your IEM's?

It only takes a few seconds per ear to get them in, but then I play with them for hours afterwards, constantly re-adjusting, changing the angle of my jaw etc. I'm always in search of better isolation....maybe a new amp will help with that, or the new E500 (damn you Head-fi)

    Best possible isolation for E4's...

How long do a set of yellow foamies last? How many individuals uses? I've just switched over to the foamies but they seem to have worn out after only a dozen uses. Regards, Don

    Shure E4C bliss

Well, this is my first post, so I'm a little behind. However, I been listening to my E4's for a few weeks and really like the sound. Like you, I use the foamies and have changed the EQ to "Rock" and it really helps. Certainly the bass is a little thin compared to my previous super.fi 5 pro's...
