Did you buy them brand new? If so, did you burn them in? Burn in is real for some head/earphones, and these are on that list. For most people in this thread 200 hours seems to be the magic number, although improvements are noticed sooner.

I had the same thing happen last summer to one of mine. I just put 3 drops of crazy glue in strategic spots along the edge of the shell where it would not touch the driver, and it has remained solid ever since.
