I use the ES100 with my Noble K10 customs through a balanced cable. I have to say it's a glorious portable and work setup.

I've just bought a pair of the Sines with the Cipher cable.  Two days into it, I'm starting to get a crackling sound whenever I move my head.  For some reason the sound also seems a lot duller and lifeless than I remember when I first got these (maybe it's my head "burning in").  Do you guys...

If anyone is still wondering, mine works as a DAC for my iphone 5S with this setup. Iphone5S>LightningCameraConnectionKit>USBMale to USBMale mini connector>E07K   ... and it sounds GLORIOUS!

These are amazeballs for gaming.  Cheapest soundstage you can get, and works great with Dolby Headphone amps (like the Mixamp) if you'd like to upgrade in the future.

If anyone is still curious, I just picked one up refurb from Velodyne @ $130.  At this price, I'm willing to try something weird... even if it is just for my basshead days.

No omni in my setup.  I use the Turtle Beach PX5 base station plugged into my PS4's optical.  It was the cheapest Dolby Headphone decoder I could find :)

Excellent budget solution I've found.  The only problem is solving for the chat mic for gaming... which I don't much care for.   I play COD solo, and public lobbies tend to be uninteresting to chat with anyways.   -Picked up a used Turtle Beach PX5 base station on eBay for 25 ish bucks  ...
