Thanks for the suggestions. I will contact Piotr re serial numbers - I didn't keep a record unfortunately.   Never thought someone would actually steal a set of customs. But likely they just grabbed the case without knowing what they had.   Sucks.

The good news is that the East Coast set must be properly set up, because it was spectacular. So much so that I'm trying to figure out how to swing a pair, notwithstanding my other phones.

Well put, Barra. The 8P is very capable technically, and at the same time has a unique sound. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and was going to jump on the drop yesterday but it sold out very quickly.

East Coast set off to cotnijoe via UPS (after a shipping snafu).   Will just reiterate that I found the 8P to be really really nice.   Thank you to piotrus-g and barra for making this happen. 

Listening to the east coast demo 8P right now. Really really impressed. Very competitive with my SE846 and 1964 V6S. Might be slightly brighter, but in a good way. Great clarity. Excellent work.

Just received my pair of V6S ordered on Nov. 28.   They are fantastic. Sound significantly better than the demo pair.    Will post thoughts later on comparison with SE846, which I also own and love.   Really impressed by 1964 Ears.

Incredible. Really beautiful set.

Depends on which model and current demand. V3 was available within a week. V8 took a few weeks. V6S was more like six weeks. Worth it though. Each has a very different sound.
