Bought the OFC pro cable for my Bokeh. Couldn’t wait to listen in my setup.

Already tried Q15 with variable volume (and aune s17 volume is fixed at 63) From my listening experience, it reduce the upper midrange freqs (vocal region). But I prefer this setup, more fun and less fatiguing (I don't like vocal being too forward; just my preference) Thanks for the idea!

can you more detail on "sounds better"? I tried to maximize my S17 volume (and reduce the Apple music volume), the midbass somehow increasing, and it is not better. however, I will try to reduce the volume from my DAC (fiio Q15) tomorrow

I never tried Aeolus, so can't comment much. Also the driver impedance is quite different (Bokeh 80 ohm vs Aeolus 300 ohm)

Tried S17 with Gustard R26 (r2r dac). Paired with ZMF Bokeh. Midrange sounds phenomenal. It is full bodied, big, also very detailed at the same time. Unfortunately, it is not for me. Mostly my songs are rock or metal songs, the midrange too aggresive (too forward); I'll get a D400EX or SU-9...

Try another dac, maybe? I also found that using smsl d400 ex need extra volume in s17, compared with smsl su-9 ultra

XLR 4 pin Edit: anyway, I can try another S17 pro in my local retailer store, to check if my S17 pro is defect or not. Edit2: Fiio JT1 with ZMF's stock cable (XLR 4 pin) no background noise. Totally dead silent. Also I already checked with multi-meter. No signal leaking from each channel.

I have tried my friend's headphone, Fiio JT1 ($69, 32-ohm), using the ddhifi cable. The background noise more prominent and un-listenable, so I switch back to the stock cable (unbalanced) and the noise gone. I have assumption that the balanced output is too high-gain for Fiio JT1. I'll try with...

hi Zach, thanks for replying. after doing some bends, it seems better. I checked with sweeping some frequency sine wave (500Hz, 10kHz, 15kHz). also I have suspect that I use glasses, might be the culprit of not having a good seal in my ears. Cheers!

I noticed a slight left-right imbalance (about 0.5 dB), it's small but noticable. currently I am still burning in my Bokeh (running 40hrs maybe) should I contact my reseller, or keep it burn-in for at least 100 hrs? thanks.

Is there any comparison between Bokeh and Atrium Closed? Since Bokeh is using "Atrium Dampening System", I suppose it will be poor-man Atrium Closed, isn't it?

My AK100 mk 1 can't play .dsf files. It says "not supported format file". It's running 2.40 firmware. So, what should I do to play DSD files? Thanks. EDIT: the dsd files are 5.6 MHz DSD. Maybe, AK100 only support 2.8 MHz?

No, I just need frequency response graph. It's for my friend's experiment with Impedance Adapter, and he needs frequency response graph of JH5.   I had heard the custom version of JH5, and I have no problem with any frequencies.

It's level. Level 1 mod, Level 2 mod, and Level 3 mod. Higher level mod sound is better than lower.

I'm using an AK100 mod from my friend. It called stage one mod (still don't know who was modding my AK100) and it sounds good. Yesterday I listened the third stage of mod, sounds like AK120! And it cost around 420 bucks. Is it worth for upgrade?
