    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

Anyway I am done arguing about this with you, this is not worth my time, nor the trouble. You should all know my opinion in regard to that matter by now. Thank you! Thank you! That was all I could wish for. :) That these extremely toxic posts of yours stopped, so we could get this thread back...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

That's how someone thinks who is not after a serious discussion. People who enjoy being toxic compare a 200 euro product to a 2000 euro product, and then say that the 200 euro product is "ABSOLUTE TRASH". "I own both the Momentum 2.0 and the MDR-1AM2, I have used both consistently for hours...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

I just wanna say that I doubt that Mathieulh is responding seriously here. He might actually want to anger other Head-fi users by being unreasonable on purpose. Several quotes from him. Here's the first quote: I have other headphones to compare it to. For instance, compared to the MDR-Z1R...

    Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread

I bought the Sony MDR-1AM2 Headphones last month. It was a good purchase. They sound really nice. Build quality seems fine. The plastic almost never produces a crackle, and the crackles which are produced are at a very low volume. My Sony MDR-1A (the first model) actually had quite loud...

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

Here's my guess. There's already a headphone on the market with the name HD-660, namely the Superlux HD-660. If you google for 'HD660', 'HD 660' or 'HD 660 headphones' a lot of search results are about this Superlux headphone. If you google for 'HD 660 S' you only find search results about...

Newly Released Sennheiser CX Series Earphones: In particular, the CX 3.00 and CX 5.00G

Thanks for the review. However, in the video you talk about an annotation, which you have to click, to show another video in which you made a modification to the CX 3.00 which affects the sound. But your video does not have any annotations. So I cannot watch this second video.

Shock discovery! Sansa clip earphones sound like Hd650!

Ok, thanks for clarifying. But I wonder if you've ever listened to the Sennheiser MX475 earbuds. I have listened to them extensively and they are the best earbuds in their price range I've ever heard. I don't think a very cheap Sansa earbud with ear pad and plastic removed can beat it.

Shock discovery! Sansa clip earphones sound like Hd650!

What mod are you talking about? Can you clarify your point further. I'm not sure what I can deduce from your picture, I only see that you don't have ear pads over your sansa buds. Is the mod removing the ear pads which are glued on? I don't think this will solve the many shortcomings of the...

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?

If you can import an MX475 for less than $40 then it's totally worth it. They provide incredible value for the money. Just don't expect a massive sound difference compared to the MX470, they do sound a bit better but it's not a night and day difference.

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?

I'm glad that you like the MX475. If you lose the supplied ear pads, you can easily buy spare ones on the internet. If you want Original Sennheiser ear pads, google for Earpads black, 5 pair (523879). Shipping costs are high though for the original Sennheiser ear pads, which makes them quite...

    Alternatives to IEM's?

I am happy with the bass performance of the Sennheiser MX475 earbuds. Midbass and upper bass is present in a good quantity and quality. Sub-bass is a tad soft, but definitely present, and clearly audible up to 24 Hz. I use the Sennheiser MX475 earbuds in conjunction with Hama 19 mm ear pads...

    Alternatives to IEM's?

You can use earbuds, like the Sennheiser MX475 or the Blue Ever Blue 328R. I use the Sennheiser MX475 daily and am really satisfied with their sound quality. Stereo imaging, dynamics, tonal balance and soundstage are all very good for buds in their price range. Their sound is warm and inviting...

Shock discovery! Sansa clip earphones sound like Hd650!

The Sennheiser MX475 earbuds (€25) are clearly superior to the sansa stock buds that come with the Sansa Clip Zip. They have greater clarity, a more detailed sound, a larger soundstage, better imaging, less sibilance (the Sansa buds really hurt my ears with their harsh sibilance) and less...

Does Hifiman RE400 sounds good with sansa clip zip

If you really want to know all the technical details you can google for "Clip+ measured" and I'm sure you'll find some sites which discuss the sound quality of the Clip+. The Clip Zip uses similar hardware. Both the Clip+ and the Clip Zip sound excellent for a mp3 player in their price range.

Does Hifiman RE400 sounds good with sansa clip zip

The Sansa Clip Zip has pretty good sound quality. It will sound just fine with the Hifiman RE400. The Hifiman RE400 does have a very flat frequency response so expect a neutral sound (not bass-heavy), see: http://en.goldenears.net/19626   You don't have to buy a new player.

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?

Since I prefer in-ears to buds, the Mediamarkt store in my area sells the Sennheiser CX300 II too, but for twice the price. Problem is they don't seem too rated from the reviews I've read (they are good quality, but a few bad reviews here and there). The ideal would be an in-ear phones with the...

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?

"The fit depends on one's earshape; the MX475 buds are quite large for mine." I have both the MX470 and the MX475, the diameter of the buds is exactly the same, both 15mm. So I don't really know what you are pointing at here. The MX475 is thicker at the back though, its total thickness is 15mm...

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?

The weight distribution of the MX475 is a bit different than that of the MX470. The MX475 is slightly thicker at the back, with slightly more weight outside the ear. This can explain why the fit is a bit worse for you. This is very personal though. For me, the fit of the MX470 is excellent and...

Sennheiser MX 475, MX 585 opinions?
