They are much much better than those. You can go through some of the reviews here on head-fi if you are interested. Anyway I do not have earbud experience other then zen 2. But in my ears they are in the same class of Sennheiser hd600 and maybe even better in some areas.- kousik1946

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
I have 3 pairs- Mullard, Yugoslovia and Voshkod. Mullard is the most warm and Voshkod is the least warm. Because the tube sound is always warm, I like the Voshkod most. Yugoslovia is also very good. I use it with my mkiii and HD600.- kousik1946

It is not that easy to recable this iem. I have ordered cable from Ali. But I could resist myself. So I used my **** cable. First it is not easy to insert the cable through the strain relief. I had to strip the outer layer and then insert the cable. Then I have not done soldering for a long...- kousik1946

IBasso Audio IT03
I need to try kz tips then. But one thing with the deep insertion is it blocks the inner port and hence elevates the sub bass too much. That is why I always keep little distance between the concha and iem to reduce the sub bass.- kousik1946

IBasso Audio IT03
I have tried many tips with it03 and here are the results- 1. spinfits- little thin and bright 2. spiral dots-good sound but the imaging is little diffused. 3. Ibasso tips- good overall sound 4. aliexpress foam tips- best sound and imaging. The foam tips were little long so I cut the bottom...- kousik1946

One more advice, if you have bad earthing in your electrical circuit this also happens. If you are connecting your dac to a laptop, which is connected via three pin connector this noise can happen. What also happened to me before. So I used a 2 pin extensension to connect my laptop and noise is...- kousik1946

FLC Technology FLC8 and FLC8s Impressions Thread
Although I am not buying any headphone right now, I am really intrigued by their massdrop price. I heard that EMU teak is little better and have removable cable. thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
I think balanced IT03 has little less sub-bass, little more vocal and less v-shaped with opus#1. Although I get fantastic result from balanced FLC8s. Balanced has more body, more soundstage, more seperation. And the change is more noticeable. So yes it's worth a try the balanced output of opus.- kousik1946
