I'm sorry. I've never owned the original hip-dac. I've only heard it for a few hours and my impression is that the sound is similar, only a bit 'clearer' perhaps. I can't do a detailed review for two reasons: My english is not enough I'm not qualified for do it

I've configured in Tidal to passthrough to the DAC and the hip dac 2 makes decode and render. It even detects the MQA studio files.

I've just received mine and it is much more beautiful than web photos with the black controls:

You are right although you can always use a second cable to the laptop. In a phone I don’t think it is a good idea to power the DAC with it.

Ordered at Supersonido Spain. It will arrive on monday. For me, despite the external color that I don't like, only the led colour codes is enough to prefer it over original hip-dac

Sometimes I prefer to use wireless headphones with my pc. FiiO M9 can do it, but I'm looking for something more powerfull.

Sorry if this is already commented, but I cannot find it. Is it possible to use bluetooth LDAC headphones with DX160 while used as USB-DAC? In M11, sadly, it is not possible.

Each application uses it owns equalizer in M11? Does this mean that it is not possible to equalize on Tidal?

In my iPod Classic 7th Gen, the problem with the battery is the quick fluctuation. It goes from 76% to 66% in a few minutes, although from 66% to 65% could last an hour.   Any idea why?

I hope this will be included in X5 too.   It is useful to use it with an Android phone as a DAC :)

If it works on Note 3, it will do in S5. The only doubt is when I replace S5. I use to do it every 6 months and rarely to Samsung.    Thank you for your help.

Does this DAC work with ANY audio software in an Android smartphone or does it only works with Audio Recorder Pro?   It is only interesting for me if I could use it with Spotify.

I've tried with my stereo car and it sounds very good with APT-X. Also appears oficial APT-X logo on box. About sound quality, it sounds good with ViperAudioFX mod but far away from my FiiO X3.
