The NEW JVC HA-S400. Affordable Carbon Nanotube cans for the masses.
Thanks for the respone! I was planing on getting the S680 but PayPal isn't supported in my country, nonetheless I am quite happy with my new pair of HPs. They sound really neutral, I am very calm while listening to them even at max volume. Indeed they don't have that wow factor out of the box, I...- enkoo

The NEW JVC HA-S400. Affordable Carbon Nanotube cans for the masses.
Just got a pair of 400s in. Out of the box they sound pretty good. I have a question, do they really use carbon nanotubes? What's the real deal with that anyway? Has it been proven any real difference at all to normal drivers?- enkoo

The JVC HA-S680 - S400's and S500's big brother is here!
I do indeed love more bassy and neutral cans. And to give you an idea of price/performance ratio the RX900 are 95$ in my country, where's the S400's are only 30$, and stuff like Amazon and Ebay are all blocked. I think I'll go for the S400's! Though they are labeled as JVC HA-S400E-W. I hope the...- enkoo

Alright. Thanks. Would getting the S400's be better of a value than getting the RX900's? Which is the best all-arounder?- enkoo

Need help choosing a pair of inexpensive over-the-ear headphones, mostly for music(edm/rock/metal), movies and gaming.
Disappointingly no, you can't buy yet alone get shipped goods from outside unless you have relatives out there, mine live too far away on that regard. There is a chance though, that I might go to Turkey, Istanbul in a couple of weeks, but I hear prices are even much more higher there.- enkoo

Need help choosing a pair of inexpensive over-the-ear headphones, mostly for music(edm/rock/metal), movies and gaming.
I live currently in Macedonia and nope. Just super cheap stuff like A4 Tech and Genius. *There are only 3 good brands Sony, JVC and Philips. But as for Sony they do not have any good ones in stock. The 100-250$+ HP's are ''bad'' and overpriced stuff like Beats and so on.* And for some reason...- enkoo

Unfortunetly in my country things like Ebay, Amazon and PayPal are all ''blocked'', thus the limited 3* picks. People sure do praise both the RX and S series. Still a bit hard to decide.- enkoo

As this being my first forum thread, I would like to say hi to the Head-Fi community! I've been searching across the forum now for over a week and I still can't find a clear comparison. Duo to my countries restrictions/limitations there isn't really a wide varaity of headphones to...- enkoo

From what I can see these cans are pretty big and heavy. Would these pose a problem to some one with neck issues? Are they a ''bit'' too heavy?- enkoo
