Great review!! And I couldn't' agree more, the V-Moda's are my personal favourite!! It's too bad they don't make the XL ear pads for the XS series to provide more isolation, They work great on My M-100's!!  

The e17 is a great unit and is capable of putting out amazing sound due to it being a high end DAC unit as well. 250mW @ 32ohms, do the output is also very high for what this unit offers, this will pound most phones pretty good! As a FiiO addict, try using the line out and run it to the FiiO...
