Just got my SP1000 here in Taiwan. Firmware is 1.01CN and on the box also there is a sticker "CN". I assume that this means Chinese ? I am hesitating to update to firmware 1.03. Did anyone experience a decline in sound quality after upgrading to 1.03 ?

Good idea. I made a hotspot on my iphone and connected AK380 to it. Also connected my ipad to it. Unfortunately on both iphone and ipad no connection with AK Connect. I hope that maybe with a future firmware it will work again. Again thanks for your assistance.

AK Connect is enabled in settings and AK380 shows a message "AK Connect enabled". I removed SSID and added manually without success. Under speaker AK380 never shows, but under library sometimes but disappers again.

I installed AK Connect also on my Android tablet and it is also not working. Will check this packet filtering, but it used to work before. Maybe a future firmware update will fix it. I want to use the AK380 to drive my stereo system but not practical if AK Connect is not working.

I guess that you mean on iPad and iPhone because on ak 380 I think it's integrated in the firmware ?

Thanks for the info. Any suggestions how I can solve my problem. Have tried various WiFi networks and AK380 connects to internet because I can use tidal. As it is the same work iPhone and iPad i suspect that the problem is coming from 380.

Recently my iphone 6 plus nor my Ipad pro can make connection via AK Connect to my AK380. Firmware AK380 1.40 and AK Connect version 1.3.9. Of course both are connected to the same wifi network and AK Connect is switchted on. AK 380 simply does not appear anymore under "Speaker" in AK Connect...

Push the menu button followed by pushing the right arrow for a few seconds until the display blinks. This will switch between PCM and DSD. In my case it only works with the right button not the left one.

Not sure if this was asked before but is it possible to switch between filters on Dave with the remote ?

Nothing related to DAC. I use Hugo and Dave. As soon as optical cable in AK380, even without DAC the DSD256 files don't play while DSD64 and 128 play.

I have optical out on AK380 with DSD64 and 128, but not with 256. Otherwise DSD256 files play well. Firmware is 1.24. Anyone having same problem ?

I understand that on Dave there is a filter for PCM and one for DSD. When switching source material PCM/DSD during audition we had to switch filters manually. Is there a possibility to have the filter switch automatically according source material ? By the way Dave sounded fabulous and I ordered it.

According to my experience the AK380 will become too hot with this case, especially when playing DSD.
