Speakers or monitors for audiophile experience?
You should give Adam F5 or F7 a try. They're the most affordable in their line and I think they're absolutely fantastic speakers for their price.- Kamots

New Audeze LCD3
Has anyone listened to any Audeze model though Heed Canamp? I know it's not a popular amp anymore and I couldn't find much info about it in conjuction to Audeze headphones. I have shortlisted a few headphones for my next upgrade (including the LCD2/3), but I want to buy a matching amplifier...- Kamots

Should I Upgrade?
I would also though the Ayre QB-9 in the mix. The only thing wrong with it is the usb only input. Other than that, it's a terrific dac.- Kamots

Looking for Speaker recommendation for my Mac Pro - Not too much bass and no wider than 8cm, any ideas?
Creative T20 are a pretty good choice. Some of my colleagues at the office have these on their desks. I think they're quite fitting in a work environment, small fottprint and pretty decent sound.- Kamots

Best small bookshelf
Proac Tablette Anniversary are my main speakers and my advice is to give them as much room to breathe as possible. They need nothing less than top notch stands and a room to suit them. Anything less and the magic is gone. For your situation I'd give the Harbeth P3 ESR's a proper try...- Kamots

Speakers or monitors for audiophile experience?
I think the lines between pro and hi-fi tend to blur the higher you go in quality, as both are aiming for the same ultimate goal: transparency and accuracy. The hi-fi market is indeed more poised in offering distinct sound signatures or colorations (or house sounds if you will), but to be... -

Hello head-fi
Just wanted to say hi to this great community! I'm a 35 years old architect, father of two beautiful daughters, and an audiophile for as long as I can remember. Been reading this forum for many years, but decided to stay in the back seat until now. I've been a speaker guy for most of my...- Kamots
