Ended up ordering MB42X today. Amazon had some refurbs, and for $50 it was hard to pass.   Doesn't mean I won't get BS22s next time they go on sale :) But after reading about them, I'm seriously considering swapping my Klipsch Synergy setup in the living room with this Pioneer set.

Thanks for the response (and adding another option into the mix! ).   The Pioneers do look good, and it seems like those and their older sibling (BS22s) go on sale quite often. Will definitely consider these.
