Hi Belle, welcome to Head-fi!    The Marantz sure looks beautiful, but I have never heard it.  People who have heard it seem to like it a lot!  But... I wouldn't reccomend getting this, unless you are planning on switching over to DSD instead of CD audio. The Marantz would still sound great...
