Does the difference in hole size (crossover for DD & BAs) between the gold/gunmetal/green nozzles affect the bass coming from the DDs? Thanks so much for the info! :)

I'm considering removing the filter inside the gold nozzles – will this result in more mids & less highs versus the green plug, and perhaps more bass too? I'm guessing the bigger hole in the gold nozzle will allow DD highs to offset more sibilance from the reverse-polarity BA tweeter. Also...
