    Recommended IEMs ~ $100 range

Thanks everyone. I think I'm leaning towards the extra $10 over my budget for the UM1 (damm! this place always thins out my wallet more than I expected ) ... the UM1s seem to be the same price of $109 everywhere. Thanks again.

    Recommended IEMs ~ $100 range

Thanks! I'll check into the Audio Technica. I forgot to mention ... as a reference, I do have a set of CX300 but my wife is using them so I thought it would be a good time for me to upgrade. I have read that the UM1 may be a good value and fit my specifications although they are just...

    headphones for iPod

From your list, I have the PX100 and 26P ... the 26P have good bass but they become sweaty and clamp down on the ears too much ... the PX100 are nice. I also have the Koss PortaPro and KSC75 ... both sound about the same and both sound as good (actually better) than the more expensive PX100...

    Recommended IEMs ~ $100 range

Hi - Been a long while since my last visit but I know this is the place for the advice I'm looking for. Budget is about $100 ... prefer to stay under if at all possible. For listening to mostly rock with clean tight bass. Comfort is also very important (will use for exercise)...

    Comfort on a budget?

Thanks for the suggestions. I had been oggling the HD595s ... shipdog has them for about $175 ... a little more than I would like to pay but perhaps a good value. Again, comfort is a priority. Not sure which Beyer would fit the bill if they are truely the most comfortable though. I'm not...

    Which one ... HD580 or HD595?

I don't understand how metal grills improve the sound but right now it looks like I should go for the 580's despite their problematic stock cables and need for an amp. thanks - ra

    ATH-A900 vs K271 studio

I was at similar junction a couple of months ago trying to decide between A900 and K271s and decided to get the A900 (currently awaiting them in the mail). May want to review thread below - http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=181967 The following link was very helpful to me...

    Which one ... HD580 or HD595?

OK … trying this again with different thread title. Would like to know from experienced Senn users some info regarding the HD580 and HD595. As I understand it: the HD580 is the sweet spot for those looking for the HD650 sound and the HD580 and HD600 are both somewhat similar to the HD650 …...
