hmm i will give that a try but i got the calyx  coffee today and connected it straight up and was having this problem

hence why i thought i might have been doing something wrong how much better sound should i be expecting from going from my integrated sound card to a 200 dac/amp because it hasn't made that much difference at least not much that i can tell while it might be loud but not by much the overall...

nope the only buttons are the standard play pause volume up down mute next and previous track 

i'm sorry i must have left that part out the caylax coffee is a dac/amp combo and it received fairly decent reviews and they say it has decent bass however it lacks any kind of drivers or EQ this is my first amp-dac so is it normal for it to be at max volume and ridiculously loud?
