I've used my X3 with headphones plugged into both the line out and the headphone socket so that two people can listen at once. I guess I shouldn't be doing that either.

The only weird behaviour I've seen from my X3 so far is that when playing back a multi-channel DVD audio rip it played v    e    r    y         s    l    o    w    l    y. But I just converted it to two channel with Foobar and problem was solved.
