What to do with a pair of old Shure IEMs?

I purchased a pair of Shure E4c IEMs a few years ago and used them practically everyday. They've been good to me, but the cables have started to turn green in various places (from the copper oxidizing I would think), the connector has had most of its gold plating worn off and the plastic boots...

    Unrippable CDs?

It is most likely copy protection on the CD. There are a few discs out there that are problematic and I've had worse luck with imports (especially from Asia). Ripping these CDs is very dependent on your disc drive. Some manufacturers have a record of their drives being able to rip copy...

My current setup, an 8GB 2G Nano and E4c. It has replaced my old Zen Micro and e2c. The e4c is very noticeably cleaner and tighter while the Nano adds some sparkle that the Zen Micro is missing. I have a single piece line out dock but am lacking a portable amp. I am currently looking at the...

Adding RCA/BNC digital out to X-Fi?

Sorry if I'm off track with this but aren't you simply looking for the X-Fi expansion modules? The cheapest one (digital I/O) is $14.99 on the creative site. Also, the I/O console uses the AD Link on the X-Fi so I wouldn't think that there would be any extra degradation of the signal...
