Why yes, we are entirely Fulla Schiit.
As mentioned in my post, I am looking for a portable hub, not an AC powered one.- lids369

Why yes, we are entirely Fulla Schiit.
Could you direct me to a portable USB hub that would be compatible with this? I plan on plugging it into an Android phone.- lids369

Audeze LCD-X
I think those are a lower end model slotted below the LCD-2. You can tell from the plastic trim on the angled connectors. Only the LCD-2s have them, and their next product is supposed to be lower than the LCD-2.- lids369

AUDEZE LCD XC
Thanks for taking the time to respond. After going back to the HD 600s, I cannot wait to get the XCs. It really does feel like your own music hall like that review said. Right before I had to take them back to the store, a lot of the harshness was gone, so I am not worried about that any...- lids369

AUDEZE LCD XC
Thanks a lot. I know what you mean, they do sound lighter than the Sennheisers. I will be living in a college apartment building, so the closed aspect will help lower the noise floor. I found out these headphones were opened a couple days ago, so I'm thinking they aren't fully broken in yet...- lids369

AUDEZE LCD XC
I've taken home the XCs to try out to replace my HD 600s, and I have a couple questions and am looking for some advice. #1: I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not in the right mood, but I feel as if these don't "rock" as much as my HD 600s and the LCD-2s. Do you guys feel the same? ...- lids369

Cable for Audeze LCD-XC
I did not like the Nordost Heimdall 2 paired with the XC's. The result was fatiguing and the headphone was in general overly bright. I much prefer the cable with the LCD-2 fazors. -
If you like the $500 B&W Speakers at Apple store, what would be a cheaper alternative?
MM-1s are really nice actually, but Audioengine A2s are a cheaper alternative that sound fantastic for their price. -
Audiophile cables, an interesting question.
Depends on which convention you use. Luckily, the whole AC signal isn't a problem because power supplies convert from AC to DC. It's really crazy!! You guys should just try this stuff out. It has nothing to do with distortion levels, measurements, or any of that ********. Until you...- lids369

Audiophile cables, an interesting question.
Negative feedback in the context of the Global feedback does affect the sound due to the time delay, and that's why it sounds better to not include that in your circuit. He even says that whether these effects are audible is another story. His point with the article is stating that the...- lids369

Audiophile cables, an interesting question.
He cites a PEER REVIEWED STUDY that states MATERIALS CHANGE OVER PERIODS OF TIME WHEN YOU APPLY ELECTRICITY. Quantum Tunneling isn't a minor effect that is hard to measure. If you want to see quantum tunneling at work, look outside at the big glowing ball of hydrostatically stable gas giving...- lids369

Audiophile cables, an interesting question.
I started at zero volume for the Schiit, and started at zero volume for the D33. I upped the volume to about 28 on the c-j, and then let it play for 20 seconds. Then I switched the dacs out (Schiit for D33), reset the volume to zero, and began to up the volume to a similar level, but before I...- lids369

Audiophile cables, an interesting question.
No, because they all have different power supplies, chipsets, and analog output stages. I didn't keep the preamp at the same volume by the way. I set the volume down to 0, and then set it back to a reasonable volume. As I was ramping up the volume, that's when everyone said, yeah, this is...- lids369
