Has anyone here tested the USB DAC functionality using other types of devices (Windows, iPhone, Android)?

Was able to try these with the Colorfly C4pro at a local meet. nmatheis was right, they can really scale up with higher end sources :D

Just received mine today. Been listening to it for 5 hours straight now. Let's all find out how far I can go.   Loving it with my Xduoo x3.

OK, so today I've encountered that *PANIC* error message after copying some files through USB on the native UI then initializing the Database update on Rockbox.   Tried the pin-accessable tinsee reset button, no use.   Tried going back to stock fw and then reinstalled rb, no use.     Good...

For $150, portable, you'll want a closed back hp. I recommend.... wait for it... ATH-M50.

And some say the M50's bass lacks the oomph. I tried listening to Dam Funk and Snoop Dogg's Faden Away with the K550's and it had me bobbing my head. M50's bass seem to "muddy up" the sound after listening to K550.   No they won't override your nano's dac. I auditioned different Fiio amps and...

No, not yet. I'll have that a try though. I hope I can find one here in the Philippines or Malaysia/Singapore, when I move there.  I also have my eye on Sony MDR-1R, Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro and M-Audio Q40. Are they any good?

I started a similar thread, moving on from m50. Haaaaaa But that's because I'm upgrading it as my recording studio monitor headphone. It seems like you're using your m50 for casual home listening. If so, have you tried open-back headphones? I've tried Grado 60i, but that's a downgrade price-wise.
