Rockbox Xduoo X3
OK, so today I've encountered that *PANIC* error message after copying some files through USB on the native UI then initializing the Database update on Rockbox. Tried the pin-accessable tinsee reset button, no use. Tried going back to stock fw and then reinstalled rb, no use. Good...- iamnotramon

Need help choosing an upgrade from the ath m50
And some say the M50's bass lacks the oomph. I tried listening to Dam Funk and Snoop Dogg's Faden Away with the K550's and it had me bobbing my head. M50's bass seem to "muddy up" the sound after listening to K550. No they won't override your nano's dac. I auditioned different Fiio amps and...- iamnotramon

Recommendations for studio monitors. Moving on from ATH-M50.
No, not yet. I'll have that a try though. I hope I can find one here in the Philippines or Malaysia/Singapore, when I move there. I also have my eye on Sony MDR-1R, Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro and M-Audio Q40. Are they any good?- iamnotramon

Need help choosing an upgrade from the ath m50
As I stated on my own thread, I just tried the AKG K550. Wider soundstage, but when my friend tried it I noticed some of the sound leaking with my phone's volume up at around 75%. Next thing I want to try is Beyerdynamic's Custome One Pro. They have a little notch for adjusting bass...- iamnotramon

Need help choosing an upgrade from the ath m50
I started a similar thread, moving on from m50. Haaaaaa But that's because I'm upgrading it as my recording studio monitor headphone. It seems like you're using your m50 for casual home listening. If so, have you tried open-back headphones? I've tried Grado 60i, but that's a downgrade price-wise.- iamnotramon

Recommendations for studio monitors. Moving on from ATH-M50.
I need some recommendations for studio monitors. Yep. I have an M50, and I read somewhere that they have a happy U-shaped FR and not good for monitoring. I recently tried AKG 550 with a friend and whilst him trying it, I noticed that some of the sound is leaking with 75% of my phone's...- iamnotramon
