At 32 ohms it was modestly powerful but nothing special. At 300 or 600 ohms it was among the most powerful amps available. Maybe that's why people tended to pair it with beyer headphones a lot.

'm not sure makes full use of the awesome PRAT of the Naim. Vocals are wicked (best I've ever heard). I'll need to compare them to the Fostex, and maybe able to score an audition with the Fostex 900s which sound the sames at the AH7000s.
