I'm interested in adding http://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-BoomPro-Gaming-Headset-Headphone/dp/B00BJ17WKK/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t to a future HD598 purchase. Unfortunately, that plug is 3.5 mm.  A few moments ago I found out that that 2.5mm cable on the hd 598 has a "locking mechanism" and no other 2.5...

  Just to confirm, so you can't use the mix amp for audio and the ps4 controller for chat support, correct? Thats what I'm trying to do at the moment :(   I prefer hearing people talk in one ear and the game audio in the other.
