Gee wizz... All this FW malarky! Thankfully I've had mine a few weeks now and no problems at all....yet. Soundwise its the analogue sounding 2.0.0 all the way...everything else is flat and screechy.

I dont find the highs peaky or grainy or edgy. They simply work better for most genres where hf is important for energy. The treble has sparkle but retains smoothness, the 650 is just well...just too smooth as i have to strain to hear some upper HF. Progressive rock sounds much more realistic...

A bit of perspective. You'll be more than happy with any one of 600, 650 or X2. I have all 3. But for myself, all listening is now via the X2. My mileage of course!

Right done the sub bass configuration as advised by shake. Errrrr. It bleedin well works! There's more sub bass than any Dr Dre fanbois could ever care for. Waaaay too much for me lol. I use it sparingly for older bass light music. Cheers Shake ..you is da sub bass messiah in my book.
