argh... same day as Alison Krauss concert in Woodinville.  

i use the Fubar in ubuntu and i haven't had any problems with it at all. Didn't have to hunt around for new drivers or anything. Haven't tried any of the others in Linux so I can't comment on any comparisons.

oh dang, march meet is gonna be huge. I won't be able to make it though(work gets in the way as always) but have fun and don't blow out any fuse boxes with all that equipment. :P be sure to post lots of pics as usual.

imagine if this was at the 39 dollar price point of the original zen stone. This is still a really good deal compared to most other players out there. i wonder if the battery life suffered because of the screen.

When I looked at the above three, I found the SR125s to be just a tad bit above the rest but not enough so for the money(however little). The SR225s seem to be the where the sweet spot is in the Grado line(to me at least). And I regret not just going straight to those instead of taking these...

some people have suggested an Darkvoice 336i or Woo Audio as an alternative to the LD2++. I'd be happy to lend u my Firestone USB DAC and amp if you're interested. (I know they're not tubes but oh well) I won't have much time for them as I have 14 hour orientation days for the next 2 weeks...
