    I have ath-m50 with a fiio e10. the e10 is pretty loud even at about volume 4 out of 8. my friend used my computer and somehow put the volume on 8 and heard some music. my question is, can it hurt the headphones themselves? and another thing, what is burn-in?

    so to sumurize it all, i will go on the m50, all that left is a decent sound card. the sound card that the guy here recommended is not available for me, but the creative sound blaster x-fi is available. good one?

    first of all, thanks for all the help, you are awsome! second, i just now did i research about getting the Beyerdynamic all the way to israel, and i realized that it's impossible under the price of 300$... so for now my only choice is the sudio technica, plus a soundcard or dac\amp combo...

    a problem with the schiit combo, it's 200$, and the aune is 190$ and my budget is 100$... isn't there an amp that can drive the beyerdyanamic under 100$?

    for now, my choice is between the Beyerdynamics and the audio technica, i will hear them both and decide. in case that i will choose the Beyerdynamics, what amp up to 100$ will do?  and if it is possible, that the amp will have line in for recordings.
