i know studio speakers should have a flat response 20-20k so you can hear whats going on while home speakers can often have a "character" (warm cold etc) maybe its the same with phones

sure those are nice but if you want to get serious about djing I feel there is only one really worth considering and thats sennheiser hd25, had mine for 4 years, unbreakable. stay away from sonys.. If you are going to use them professionally I would chose sennheiser any day. but thats just me...

The Super fi´s seems to have a problem with the housing cracking, I must have seen 10 threads about this. I also saw something about the E5c´s cables corroding after 2 years, turning green, will this affect the sound? Same with UM2??
