I listen to indie music so from indie folk and rock to dream pop, shnthpop, a bit of triphop, classic rock, bit of jazz. But anything with clean acoustic sound or lots of "layers" i like. I guess that's why i like open headphones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ouch! I was trying to avoid that. Was readong about the nuforce iDo. It is supoused to work as a Dac/amp. How good a dac well... Not sure. But probably better than the ipod. Would use it at home only. With the senns hd555. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Senns sound better connected to the receiver than to the ipod. The cd player is actually a bluray player connected to the pioner through stereo cables (red and white). I am on a bit of budget and decided to use what was at hand at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
