for gaming though, say hearing footsteps in counter strike?

I'm torn on a decision here, MA900 or HD 598. Whichever one I get will be mainly used gaming, I plan on buying a Xonar DG with the cans so I can use 5.1. I'd really like some opinions, depending how bias they are.

so if i wanted 5.1 i would need to buy a xonar dg and not use the mixamp?

I probably would have decided in the MA900 already if it didn't look really flimsy, how comfortable is it compared to the HD 598, do you know?   Also if anyone else can confirm or share opinions on what Trunks is saying here that would be greatly appreciated.
