Pads finally arrived. They're quite soft and thick, added clamp force. If it wasn't so thick I would rate it 10/10 when it comes to value. Soundwise I think these are on par with my dekoni tx00 pads, vs stock pads it has less midbass wider soundstage and requires more volume as your ears now...

Thanks for the pictures. Just buy the dekoni tx00 sheepskin earpads, sounds really good and they're angled, just around 30mm thick unlike these pads or go for zmf ori.

The z7 fits in the bigger brainwavz headphone case. :)

I would pay $150 to $180 for a bnew 535. Lmao. Oriveti Primacy is a better all-rounder for $300, flc8 and it03 are also good alternatives.

Soundstage, bass and treble extension, micro detail. 535 has both bass and treble roll-off which i didn't like. Better get the oriveti primacy rather than getting a 535.

846 really pairs well with analytical sources imho.

Good thing the shure fiio cable is better than the westones. It was really a bad experience that i did not bother buying shure fiio cable. Anyway, i asked a friend to make me an mmcx cable (silver and spc hybrid) that really sounds good with the 846.

i had the westone 2 pin of these, they have very bad microphonics and the sound became harsh.. it even damaged my 4R's sockets, didn't bother to get one for my 846.

For me they sound the best with spinfits, tighter bass imho.
