Nice gear list! I would also like to come depending on the date. This would be my first meet too. My gear isn't very prolific, but it would be HD600 UM2 SR80e Leckerton UHA6s MKII   I also have some friends with better stuff in the area too that I can probably convince to come.

I've had my sr80e for about a month. Compared to my hd600s, I'd say the sound is pretty flat. The treble is energetic especially with my guns n roses and extends fairly well. Along with that flat signature comes a not so forward midrange, which compared to my um2s is quite noticeable. All in...

My setup is usually either my rockbox'ed ipod classic or laptop as source -> leckerton uha6s mkII In my dorm I'll use my HD600s and in the library I'll use my UM2s

I got a used pair haha. I bought HD580/HD600 replacement headband cushion for my Shure SRH440s, and it seems like my HD600 cushions are flattening out.   I'll keep searching! Glad to finally be a part of this thread

Finally pulled the trigger on HD600s after contemplating for ages. Driving them with my Leckerton UHA6s mkii. I love listening to live music on these things   Btw, is there a manual or good piece of instruction on how to replace parts on the HD600? I dont want to break anything hehh

I just read through all of this and I'm still torn between the esw9 and es700.

The HE-400s are really a gem. I think they are pretty edgy for those synth sounds and actually have good bass response too. The first I listened to them, I was wow'ed. The trebles are pretty good as they extend, but I never felt them to be too fatiguing as I'm pretty sensitive to highs as well...

Been lurking on Head-Fi for a while and I have had my UM2s for about a year. I must say, these headphones are so musical. The warmth and intimacy makes these great for live music or just general listening.   Sad to see these being discontinued
