Beats Solo3 Wireless - Impressions Thread

Thanks, I have made up my mind and will get these ones. The Beoplay H7 is certainly a very good alternative, but I didn't like the fact that it was bigger and not as easy to carry around like the Beats. Price wise, the Beoplay are way more expensive, retailing for $450 (you can probably get...

Beats Solo3 Wireless - Impressions Thread

I very much agree with the below reviews: http://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/bose/soundlink-around-ear-ii http://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/beats/solo-3-solo3-wireless http://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/best/by-type/on-ear I have another thread on reddit (bose subreddit)...

Beats Solo3 Wireless - Impressions Thread

Hi guys, I'm really torn between these the Bose SoundLink around-ear wireless headphones II and Beats Solo 3. They both come to a similar retail price and while I can obviously see some advantages of the Beats over the Bose such as battery life (40 hours), W1 chip for better compatibility with...

    Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread

Returned my HD598 for the ATH-AD1000X.   The HD598 were good, no amp was needed to get a really great output but wanted to get an upgrade to a higher tier so went with ATH (I might be biased since I really like Japanese products).    The only thing I missed about my HD598 were how comfy they...

    [REVIEW/COMPARISON] ATH-AD900X vs ATH-AD1000X vs MDR-MA900 - It's STILL over 900!!!!

Someone in this thread said that the AD1000x were closer to the AD2000 than the AD1000, so I bet it's gotta be what you are saying.   At this moment I set it up at -4 treble and +4 bass (+10 is just way too much for me, don't particularly like heavy bass music). I do feel the lack of bass...

    [REVIEW/COMPARISON] ATH-AD900X vs ATH-AD1000X vs MDR-MA900 - It's STILL over 900!!!!

Just got my E17!   I'm plugged my AD-1000X in the headphones jack and from the Mini USB to USB on my computer. Is that the way to get the maximum performance? I've seen some videos about people using coaxial and SPDIF, which one works best? I don't have an SPDIF cable either, should I buy...

    [REVIEW/COMPARISON] ATH-AD900X vs ATH-AD1000X vs MDR-MA900 - It's STILL over 900!!!!

Price doesn't really matter to me as long as there's no "bottleneck". What do I mean by bottleneck? Both amp, cans match with each other.   Thanks for the tip!

    [REVIEW/COMPARISON] ATH-AD900X vs ATH-AD1000X vs MDR-MA900 - It's STILL over 900!!!!

Thanks for replying so fast!   What about the sound card? Not needed at all? How should I plug my cans? The rear jack port or the front one?   I'm using a PC so it doesn't have to be portable at all...

My new ATH-AD1000X are on their way!    I owned a pair of HD598 prior to this one and I've been wondering whether I should buy an amp and a sound card or not. Which one works best?   Thanks guys
